The Best day of my entire life ever (so far) 🌻✨

On Monday, 12th of August last year, it was my 9th birthday. I celebrated it at YMCA Panmure Lagoon pools with my family and friends. My Mum rented a  huge place in the Panmure Lagoon. There was a pool in the huge room we rented.

 

My family and friends gathered at 4pm, Julio was one of the first to arrive.  My other friends brought food like spaghetti, fried chicken, rice and more. After we ate, we played octopus tag in the pool. It was hard to not get tagged because it was amazingly crowded by my friends. It was really fun.

The food I picked were Glass Noodles, Spaghetti, Fried Chicken, and Carbonara Pasta. Julio, Justin and I started to chat about things. Another invited guest came late and it was my best friend, Roman. Shortly after, mum called me to slice the cake and blow out the candles on the cake.

I got to slice the mouthwatering cake, also blow the candles. We all got paper plates and ate the cake. After that I got to open my birthday presents. From what I remember there were about fifteen or twenty gifts. My favourite gift was a nerf gun and the second favourite was a volcano eruption experiment. 

I finished opening my gifts we had to put them in three bags. I said goodbye to everyone and thanked them all for coming to my birthday celebration. I totally had so much fun and I felt that so far this has been the best day of my entire life. 🌻✨

My Whakapapa Story

I have a huge Whanau so I couldn't begin to fit everyone in my picture. I will start to introduce my Whanau. The tallest koru on the right hand side is my Dad, General. The second tallest is my cousin, cousin Lester. I have a nickname for him which is “Bruno.” The two koru under my Dad are my Mom and Aunt. The brown koru is my Mom’s dad who has already died and that is why I drew a halo above his head. The fourth tallest is my cousin Bianca and she is only one year older than me; plus… SHE’S MY NIECE!? I am the small green koru next to my Mom. I am 10 years old. On the far left are two last koru which represent my Lola and Lolo or Grandma and Grandpa in the Philippines. My family is really special to me. 😜

I feel gloomy because I don’t have leaves and I’m alone. I have to wait till spring for my leaves to grow back. I wish they’d grow back now. I feel like a sore loser because the pine trees make fun of me.  I feel useless  because I can’t produce oxygen yet. I will feel a lot better when it's Spring again. I will feel useful again because I can produce oxygen for the humans and other living creatures.

During Cyber-smart last Monday we got to draw any Creature  only the head then we had to swap with another persons drawing then who ever drew this Cheetah body then who ever drew this gave it to the other person and drew whatever this is it looks like a porcupine or a rat.
