Swimming at SwimMagic, The First Day.
Swimming.
On June the eighth 2021, the whole school went swimming at SwimMagic swim school. We had to be separated into groups which were Senior Boys, Senior Girls and Juniors.
To be honest, I wasn’t really interested because I’ve done these lessons before but that’s changed because I haven’t swam in a while. So, the first thing we did was get into the pool in a safe way, afterwards the instructors told us to practice our kicks.
The Instructor said “When you kick you don’t point your toes like a ballerina, just flop your legs.” After that the instructor gave us boards. Justin and Eldrich had to stand on a platform because they were too short. Justin struggled at first but he kinda got the hang of it.
We did freestyle with boards then again without boards doing streamline and finally we did backstroke.
When we were done we got to jump into the pool, I tried to dive but failed but I finally mastered it.
After we were done we went to get our stuff then went to the bus back to school.
Afterwards I felt very exhausted but I really enjoyed the first day.
