Why Is Cutting Down Trees Bad?

Learning Intention: I am learning to write a persuasive text using information to persuade readers my point of view is right.

I believe people should not chop down trees because people will not have oxygen to breathe. People destroy animals' home. There are lots of animals become extinct. The birds will migrate to another country because people cut down the trees.
I believe that people should not be allowed to cut down trees.

Our Autumn Tree looks colourful. The leaves are twirling from the autumn tree. The red and yellow, gold and brown leaves are gliding and fluttering to the ground. Soon the tree will be bare.

A Good Neighbour

One day a man was going on a trip. There were robbers behind the rocks. The robbers jumped and hit the man. They went away. There was man who worked in the temple. He saw the hurt man but he didn't help him. And along came a man on a donkey. He helped the hurt man. He was from a another country. The man put bandages on the hurt man. He took the hurt man to a house where he can rest. Jesus said you can be a neighbour to anyone who needs your help. 
The lesson that I learn from the story is to be a neighbour  want to anyone who needs my help.

The Creation Story

On the first day God made the light. And God called the light day and God called the dark night. On the second day God made the sky. On the third day God made the trees, flowers, mountains, rivers, islands and beaches. On the fourth day God made the moon, stars and the sun. On the fifth day God made the birds and the fish. On the sixth day God made animals and man. And on the seventh day God rested.

Learning Intention: We are learning to understand that God wants us to care for His Creations.

Caring For Our Earth ...Our Common Home

Room 2 picked up the rubbish we found around our school.

We found different types of rubbish. For example foil packets, plastic bottles, juice cartons, papers and mini packets. The rubbish will get into the drains. The rain will come down and will wash the rubbish out into the sea and rivers. This makes our rivers and the sea dirty and the fish and eels will get sick and die. 

Let us keep our rivers and the sea clean.

Going to the Movies!

During the holidays I went to the movies with my family. 
We watched Trolls. My favourite part was when   Bobby was trapped in the Spider's Web. Branch saved Bobby . Bobby said, 'thank you and Branch said you welcome!'
